"Remember your Creator in the days of your youth" Ecclesiastes 12:1

Youth Group

The St. Ignatius Youth Group meets each Sunday for the 5:30 p.m. Mass, followed by dinner, teaching, and hanging out in the Frassati Center. We also gather on some Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. for recreation and fellowship.

We normally go on several retreats each year, including the March for Life in Washington D.C. We also go on a few fun trips (kayaking, whitewater rafting, show skiing, etc.), and an annual summer mission trip. All of which will not include the typical things that keep many young people from attending youth ministry events, and instead, we will emphasize Orthodox Catholicism. Our goal is simply to form genuine relationships through which we will all grow in our spiritual lives and our conviction in His Church’s teachings.

We also take part in several service projects including cooking for and visiting the women of McKemie Place and packing food for our Backpack Ministry.

All high school students are welcome to join us (Catholic or non-Catholic).
