Dear St. Ignatius family,

During the month of October, we will be celebrating the wondrous gifts that God has given each and every one of us through our Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure.  God, in his superabundant love generously gave us life and even His own Son to redeem us from our sins and through this shows us the truth that He cannot be outdone in generosity.  It is this trait of generosity which best reflects His love for us.  He calls us to live out the generosity in our lives by being good stewards of the gifts that He has given.  I ask you to give prayerful consideration to making or renewing your commitments of Time, Talent and Treasure during the month of October.

October 13th and 14th is our Time and Talent commitment weekend.  I am inspired by the quote, “talent is the passion that people have for doing what is good”. Stewardship of Talent is our desire to give of ourselves in proportion to what God has given us. We are truly blessed to have a church family so rich in individual talents and gifts.  I ask you to consider sharing your time and special gifts with us for the greater glory of God, and the building-up of our St. Ignatius community.

Take a moment to review the many opportunities we offer to share your time and talent with the parish in the enclosed brochure.  Visit the Time and Talent table at the Parish Picnic on October 14th following 10:00AM Mass to learn more about our ministries and where we need your talents.  Volunteers from each of the ministries will be available to answer questions.  Please pray and reflect upon your calling and indicate those areas of interest to you and your family by checking the appropriate box.  We ask that you complete your Time and Talent commitment card by the end of October.  You may return the brochure during the Offertory at Mass, at the Parish Picnic or drop if off at the parish office.

Please contact the Development Office at 445-6719 with any questions.  I look forward to your continued prayers and service as we work together for our parish family.

Gratefully in Christ,
