St. Ignatius Parish is a community called to proclaim all the Catholic Church holds, teaches, and believes to be revealed by God. Nourished by the Eucharist, we humbly implore God to make us brothers and sisters of Jesus, marked by true charity, heralds of the joy of knowing, loving, and serving Him.
Nestled in Spring Hill, St. Ignatius Parish is a vibrant Catholic community where faith flourishes through Mass, fellowship and service. Our campus is home to a beautiful church, a thriving school, and a parish family that warmly welcomes all who seek to grow in faith. From youth groups and RCIA programs to meaningful outreach, we offer countless opportunities to serve others and deepen your faith. Rooted in the Eucharist and inspired by our mission, join us in celebrating the joy of knowing, loving, and serving Jesus Christ.
Wisdom of the Saints about the Communion of Saints (part 3)

“I know that many say, ‘What good can prayers do for a soul that has departed this world, either with sins or without sins?’ If a king were to banish certain people who had offended him, but then their families should weave a crown and offer it to him on behalf of those under punishment, would he not grant a remission of their penalties? In the same way, when we offer our supplications for those who have fallen asleep – even if they were sinners – we weave no crown, but offer up Christ sacrificed for our sins, propitiating our merciful God for them and for ourselves.” St. Cyril of Jerusalem (4th century, Doctor of the Church)
We have four Assistive Hearing Devices available for those needing hearing assistance at Masses. They are located in the sacristy.
Please inquire with Shelia Wilkins, or one of the ushers, before Mass to check out a device and learn how to use it.

No Parking on Tuthill Lane
All parishioners and visitors are asked to avoid parking on Tuthill Lane when visiting campus. The City of Mobile has been issuing parking tickets to cars parked along the street. Please use the back parking lot behind the Marian Center when the main lot is full. Thank you for your cooperation and patience during our building process.
