Matthew McIntyre

• Confirmation Saint: St. Luke
• Connection to St. Ignatius: The children attend school at St. Ignatius as 4th grade, 2nd grade and Pre-K 4 students. They became interested in the Catholic faith and traditions. It was easy to support this spiritual growth by encouraging this with support at home as they grow in their faith.
• What are you looking forward to most about becoming Catholic: Continuing to learn and grow in Catholic traditions
• Favorite new Catholic prayer: Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
• Something you hope to learn more about: The Catechism of the Catholic Church and its history
• Biggest challenge of the quarantine: Missing family and friends, and not being able to visit who we want when we want.
• What helped you survive the quarantine: Boating and outdoor fun!
• Fun Fact: Matt’s son Thomas will be also be receiving his First Communion with the second graders; and fourth grader Griffin will be received into the Church along with her dad! Please pray for the whole family!
