Why is supporting seminarians and retired priests so important? Generations of Faith seeks to endow the futures of youth ministry in our diocese, the formation of young men as they discern and prepare for the priesthood, and the quiet, prayerful lives of our diocesan priests once they retire from active ministry. The Archdiocese is currently blessed with 23 young men who are discerning God’s call to the priesthood. In addition, 25 of our archdiocesan priests are retired and 11 priests will be eligible to retire within the next five years.

Generations of Faith Campaign funds will allow us to:
1. Assure the vitality of our Catholic faith by supporting the life-long ministries of our priests
2. Ensure the transmission of the Catholic faith to our young people
3. Impact the Catholic Church of today and tomorrow
