Why is important for our youth to have their own space? Throughout the Archdiocese of Mobile, and
especially at St. Ignatius Parish, youth ministry has long been an important source of faith formation for our
teenagers. As St. Ignatius continually transforms, the outdated Frassati Center will be demolished and a
renovated Marian Center will become the meeting space for LifeTeen. Annually we have more than 150 high-
schoolers engaged in LifeTeen. The new space will allow for both formation and fellowship.

Building Something Beautiful for God Capital Campaign II funds will allow us to:
1. Prepare our teens for college and adulthood by forming them in the Catholic faith
2. Strengthen the Catholic values that teens have learned during their years at St. Ignatius
3. Provide a comfortable meeting place for high-school students to learn and expand their knowledge of
the Catholic faith
